"Jean Hatchet” is the activism name of a Yorkshire woman who came to public notice for her work in support of the claimant in the Ched Evans case and for her bicycle “Rides for Murdered Women,” which memorialise women killed by men’s violence and raises funds for women’s domestic violence services. She won the Emma Humphreys Prize in 2018 with a Special Award for her activism in the field of male violence against women and girls.
She writes for The Critic, the New Statesman, Huffington Post and The Guardian. She works to challenge the many injustices presented to women from the incursion into areas of women’s rights by aggressive trans activism.
Jean is co-founder of brand new campaign group https://twelveofive.uk , formed to take direct action against men’s demands in the name of gender ideology.
