Milli Hill: ‘Ultra Processed Women’

Milli Hill is a writer and freelance journalist with a passion for women’s rights in childbirth and throughout their reproductive lives. Her book The Positive Birth Book is one of the UK’s leading pregnancy guides and has sold over 100k copies since publication in 2017. She is also the author of Give Birth like a Feminist and My Period (for preteen girls), and writes a bestselling substack: WHAT ABOUT WOMEN. 

Her newest book, Ultra Processed Women, was published in July 2025 with a fifth book to follow in 2026. To date, her books have been translated into seven languages

Liberal Voice for Women exist to:

• Promote understanding of the protected characteristic of ‘sex’, as defined by the Equality Act and as stated in the Preamble to the Liberal Democrat Constitution
• Research and develop pro-women campaigns, policies, events and conference motions
• Ensure that any Lib Dem policies that undermine or compromise women’s rights receive appropriate scrutiny and opposition
• Seek to ensure that the Liberal Democrats remains a home for open, respectful debate about issues that affect women
